Cookie & Analytics Notice
What browser cookies and local storage Waypoint actually uses today, and what it doesn't.

Effective Date: August 27, 2026 · Version 1.1
Waypoint Notaries LLC uses a limited amount of browser technology to operate and secure our website.
Essential Cookies
Waypoint uses an essential authentication cookie for authorized staff access.
This cookie is necessary for authentication and security and is not used for advertising, marketing, or cross-context behavioral tracking.
Waypoint does not provide the contents of this authentication cookie to advertisers.
Public customers using Waypoint's request and customer-management pages do not currently need a Waypoint authentication cookie.
Browser Preferences
Waypoint may use local browser storage for minor functional preferences in the internal staff interface, such as remembering whether a navigation panel is expanded or collapsed.
These preferences are not used for advertising, marketing, or cross-context behavioral tracking.
Google Places
To help accurately identify locations for mobile service, Waypoint may use Google Places Autocomplete.
When this feature is loaded, your browser communicates directly with Google while you enter an address. Google may receive partial address text, your IP address, and other technical information and may use cookies or browser storage according to Google's own privacy practices.
Waypoint generally receives the address you ultimately select or submit rather than maintaining its own record of your autocomplete keystrokes.
Website Analytics
Waypoint uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site -- which pages are visited, how people arrive, and general usage patterns. Waypoint does not use Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, advertising pixels, session-replay software, or similar tracking beyond Google Analytics.
Analytics is optional and off by default. It only loads if you accept it, using the banner shown on your first visit or the control below -- distinct from the essential website functionality described above, which cannot be declined. Declining analytics never affects your ability to request or receive Waypoint's services.
We do not currently claim support for a particular browser-based opt-out signal unless that support has actually been implemented.
Cookie Choices
Essential security and authentication technologies cannot be disabled when they are necessary to provide the feature you are using.
Optional analytics is treated separately and is never required to request or receive Waypoint services -- accept, decline, or change your choice at any time using the control above.
For more information about how Waypoint handles personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
